Our January speaker, Victoria Blashford Snell began her career as an aspiring actress, boosting her funds by cooking. Â This transgressed into working at Books for Cooks in London and demonstrating the recipes from above the shop, moving on to full blown catering.
She gave us an amazing insight into the logistics of catering for large events with her outstanding team from front of house staff to kitchen porters. Â Then followed several stories about how unpredicted events, often weather related or non delivery can lead to last minute major changes
