By March 2021 we knew we would have to leave the venue we had used for many years.
Finding an alternative involved much research and several good lunches for the committee (they paid for them themselves).
One member suggested we consider the Stapleton Arms at Weston Buckhorn which was an inspired thought. This is a lovely venue, convenient for many of us and so very welcoming and friendly.
Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the good meal and in anchoring his talk on counterterrorism in North Dorset, Alan made it pertinent and interesting. This was a topic we have not covered before.
